The Valentin Blatz Brewing Company was an American brewery based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It produced Blatz Beer from 1851 until 1959, when the label was sold to Pabst Brewing Company. Blatz beer is currently being produced by Miller Brewing of Milwaukee, under contract with Pabst Brewing Company.
Blatz is an iconic beer that lasted through prohibition and needed a modern day refresh from its current brand without losing its long history. The tagline “A lasting impression” was added to signify that once you have a Blatz, you’d remember it for a lifetime. My grandpa who made a lasting impression on me loved Blatz and this project is in memory of him.
